During a trip to Adelaide this week, we visited the famous Penfolds Magill Estate winery in Magill, 10km east of Adelaide.
Here is a view from outside:
While photography is one of my loves in life, so is wine, and Penfolds produces some of my favourite red wines.
During this visit, we were given a guided tour of the winery, and access to parts of the property most people don’t get to see.
After the tour, we tasted six of Penfolds’ icon and luxury wines.
I captured this image outside the winery after our visit concluded. Yes, it’s dreadful afternoon light, but the option to shoot during golden hour wasn’t available.
While photography was never high on the agenda for this trip (it was all about the wine), it was good to capture a few memories.
